Jay a.k.a. "Tiny"
Alright, back to business. After a little warming up and movement drills with Greg I got partnered up with Tiny. Now, don't let the nickname fool you because this guy is about 6'4" and 260# or more so training with him is just a little bit different. He was pretty decent before I ever met coach and his hands haven't slowed down much. Even with his unassuming demeanor and quiet personality I can only imagine that someone would make a tragic mistake if they were to ever pick on Jay. The long and the short of it, Jay is a big man and can very easily fuck-you-up. Training with him, not bad. Granted it's not easy to fight a brick wall and you have to adjust a bit to get your targeting dialed in but it's a hell of a good experience. There's a lot of stuff which is just hard to pull off since it's not easy to reach that high for a little guy like me. Head hunting a giant won't always work (where's a sling when you need one) , especially when massive meat paws get in the way. Still, the bigger they are...
Jay has expressed interest in coming to train regularly, nothing would please me more. Just a few more people and we might have great class.
